A Family Day Out At Paultons Family Theme Park

A few weeks ago now we visited Paultons family theme park, in Hampshire, as a treat for Little as she had been so amazing since Baby had arrived. Our main reason for visiting was of course Peppa Pig World.

It is about 97 miles away from our home so we planned on driving up on the Wednesday evening, staying at my Mum’s caravan (only 20 miles away) and heading there on the Thursday. However when we got on the M25 it was down to one lane and we discovered the M3 was closed too. We headed home to try again on Thursday morning but once again the M25 was closed due to an accident. We didn’t want to let Little down so we attempted to get there for a third and final time Thursday lunchtime!

The park is open 10:30am – 4:30pm weekdays so we got there for when it opened to get the most out of our day. I didn’t expect there to be so much to do but we didn’t get on half the rides there and we barely queued.

As soon as we arrived we headed straight to Peppa Pig World of course. Little was in her absolute element!

Peppa Pig World itself is very family friendly. Even Baby came on all the rides with us. We took a ride in Daddy Pig’s Car and Grandpa Pig’s Little Train as well as going in Grandpa Pig’s House. Little also got to meet Peppa & George although she wasn’t sure what to think of them!

There are lots more rides like Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Ride, Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride and George’s Dinosaur Adventure but Little wanted to go on them “when I’m older”! She did however spend a lot of time in Mr Potato’s Playground (where they even have a Muddy Puddles water experience!!!!).

The rest of Paultons Park also had rides for the whole family and I even went on a rollercoaster all by myself! Little was even brave enough to go on Digger Ride (3 times!) and Seal Falls all by herself and look how proud she looks!!

Even the little ride on’s that are placed around the park are free to use which is a massive plus for us parents otherwise the day could end up costing a small fortune!

We are so glad we went and cannot wait to visit again when Baby is a bit older! I highly recommend a visit if like me, your child is obsessed with Peppa Pig or if you just want a family friendly day out 🙂

If you’ve been to Paultons Park, what was your favourite part of your day?

  2. We haven’t been as it is quite a long way for us and I’ve heard mixed things so this is really useful. Thanks for linking to #sharewithme

  3. We went to Paulton’s in the summer and we LOVED it! We took our little boy who was nearly 2 and my friends daughter who was 11! We loved George’s Dinosaur ride and then the Paulton’s side of the park when Alfie was napping. The splash park was amazing too as it was a scorching day!
It sounds like you guys had a lovely time, we are definitely going to go back x

  4. Gorgeous photos and it looked like the sun came out to reward you for your three attempts! I love Peppa Pig World. I’ll be sad when my children grow out of it.
