I know I know it’s only November but I cannot help but get over excited about Christmas. It is our first Christmas as a little family – eeeeeeeeeekkkk!
So yesterday we took a trip to World’s End Garden Centre in Wendover, Buckinghamshire. I’d never heard of it before but my Mum kept saying how she wanted to go so I didn’t really know what to expect.
Once we finally got there (all we had was a few road names my Mum had written down!!) it was absolutely heaving. The car park was chocker but we managed to get a space pretty quickly.
As well as a ‘Grotto and Winter Wonderland’ there were fairground rides, a number of stalls (almost like a mini Christmas market!) and of course the garden centre itself – full of so many lovely Christmas decorations!!
Entry into the Winter Wonderland was just £2 a person which I think was an absolute bargain because it was amazing. On our journey through Winter Wonderland we were met with animated figures, model villages and Christmas trees galore!
At the end of the Winter Wonderland you have the choice to visit Santa. This is £8 per child and £2 per accompanying adult (so if you have paid to go into Winter Wonderland already it is just £6 per child) and each child gets a gift. I’m not sure if this is a good price as I’ve not been to visit Santa since I was a lot younger but it’s not flaunted in your face so if you would rather not take your child they wouldn’t even know he was there ;)!
Below I have added some photo’s of our day!
I would definitely recommend a visit here if it is near to you! It is fun for all the family and you could easily spend a day here as there is a lovely restaurant and soft play to wear the children out before leaving!
Have you started your Christmas festivities yet or do you wait until December?
