You may (or may not) have noticed I completely missed last weeks Little Loves. I had a super poorly Baby and Thursday saw us sent to the hospital! After battling to keep her temperature down, nothing was working so we were sent to the hospital where they discovered she had tonsillitis. The next few days were spent fighting to get her to take her antibiotics and snuggling a very unsettled Baby.
I am still reading After You and the more I’m reading the more I’m getting into it. This week I have read some lovely blog posts – one of my favourites is by Georgina about her thoughts on THAT mums net thread. Another read that I can really relate to is A Letter To My Daughter About Becoming A Big Sister by Steph from Raising Emily! I remember feeling all those emotions myself.
Now that Celebrity Big Brother is over I haven’t really had anything to watch in the evenings. If Peppa Pig counts then that is the thing I’ve been watching most lately – not out of my own personal choice I might add! I am loving instastories though and waste a huge amount of my day either doing my own or watching others. I am such a nosy parker 🙂
A lot of crying thanks to the nasty tonsillitis. I also heard that apparently research says it’s ok to pick up your baby each time it cries. Now I thought this was just something us parents did but now that research has backed it up we will feel better about it? Baby’s cry to communicate their needs – of course it’s ruddy ok to pick them up!!
Technically last week but as I didn’t link up I will squeeze it in! We got arty and did some blow painting. I’ve been struggling to get motivated which results in Little getting bored and grating on me – in the nicest way possible! So I’ve made a list of activities we can do at home 🙂
I could not resist dressing the girls the same on Sunday! I’m all for a bit of twinning is winning!!
As you are reading this we will probably be at a new soft play that Little spotted whilst in Hatfield the other day. She has been asking about it everyday and today is finally the day!
