I love nothing more than discovering new places. If I’m honest it is very easy to get stuck in a routine of visiting the same places so I have made it my goal to explore more! I have made a list of all the places I want to visit and many of them are National Trust. I had no idea they had so many beautiful places to visit.
One of my favourite National Trust places to visit is Dunstable Downs. It brings back so many lovely childhood memories of learning to fly my kite, watching the hang gliders and eating ice-creams. Even in my late teens I would go there and watch the world go by! I cannot wait for the lighter evenings to have many a stroll there with my girls.
Ashridge Estate is another beautiful place that takes me back to my childhood. We used to visit here with my Nan & Grandad for many a picnics, tree climbing and again ice-cream eating! I remember walking the steps of the monument as they seemed to go on for ages. But the views are well worth the steps. Little is at that age now where she appreciates things more so I cannot wait to take her back again!
There are so many other places I would love to visit that are local to me but I didn’t know existed. Shaw’s Corner, Morven Park and Pitstone Windmill have all been added to my places to visit!
