A Family Day Out | Paradise Wildlife Park

I have been meaning to write this post for ages now and I just never got round to it. So here it is, our family day out to Paradise Wildlife Park.

A while back we won an adult and child ticket at a raffle so as it was a nice day we decided to finally go. I was so excited!

On arrival I was a bit shocked at the price to be honest as one adult was £19.00. Scarlett went free and we had one adult ticket already so £19.00 is a good price for a day out, but if we had to pay for us both I don’t think we would have gone until Scarlett was a bit older.

I found the layout a bit confusing and we felt we had missed things, but who knows. We didn’t arrive until about 2pm (it takes us ages to get ready in the mornings haha!) and we had left by 6pm. I’m sure it would have taken us longer had Scarlett been older as a lot of the things such as soft play she didn’t go on.

We enjoyed looking at all the animals and even Scarlett seemed interested in them. They had an amazing amount of animals which surprised me actually. The snow leopards were the cutest, they were play fighting for everyone to see! The monkeys were cheeky too, showing off for cameras.

They had a great deal to see but I did feel sorry for the birds. The cages weren’t very big but I guess they are let out to fly quite a bit.

They had a few shows on throughout the day, but we missed most of them because of the time we got there. But we did manage to see a bird show and the white tiger being fed!

We really enjoyed our day out and I’m sure once Scarlett is a bit older we will probably return as she will get more for her money!

Have you ever been to Paradise Wildlife Park? What did you think?

I've never been, it's a shame to hear the birds' cages are on the small side 🙁 x

We went to Paradise Wildlife Park the week before my son was born and we used Tesco vouchers to make it cheaper. We really liked it although I was waddling around like any heavily pregnant person and was ready to go home by mid afternoon! x
