I say it every month but I cannot believe yet another month has passed! When do I have to stop referring to you as a baby? Because I’m not ready for that yet. It honestly feels like it was only a few months ago that I was worrying about life with two! Now all of a sudden you are ten months old.
Everything is going well at the moment apart from your sleep. Bedtime seems to be one big game to you at the moment! We have the same routine every night (apart from a bath every other night) yet you still don’t get the hint. 8:30pm most nights and you are still awake, shouting to wake your sister up and pulling everything off the side into your cot! Then you wake up at the crack of dawn in a complete grump. I wish you would appreciate the opportunity to sleep!
You can’t even blame those toothy pegs anymore because your top two are both through now. And don’t you love showing them off with your geeky little smile! You have the naughtiest little laugh to go with said smile and you bring so much laughter to our home!
You seem to have had a growth spurt because all of your clothes seem too short. I have finally started buying your 9-12 month wardrobe because we may finally be getting to that point! But saying that your 6-9 month baby grows still swamp you!! We had your 10 month check yesterday and you weigh 18lb 2oz, 72cm long and have a 45cm head circumference.
You are still a little food monster and we still haven’t found anything you don’t like. Apart from bland foods. You love anything with a bit of flavour! Strawberries are your absolute favourite at the moment, along with milky bar and wotsits. Terrible Mummy I know but your sister was exactly the same.
We have been telling you no quite a bit lately it seems. You are a bit hitty and scratchy and think the word no is the funniest! You are always climbing or getting into somewhere you shouldn’t be. The bath seat has been removed because that was just giving you something to climb out of and the highchair is a test it would seem.
The strength in your legs is incredible. You practically run around the house on your walker and have actually stood unaided for a few seconds. Again I say it every month but I just wish time would slow down a little bit!
You have the cutest little voice and can always be heard. If you’re not singing, you’re shouting! Dad is the new word. Dad Dad Dad Dad! Every time you pick up a phone you should “DAD”. Oh and Nan na nan na seems to be for when you are hungry or want something.
Life with you is full on but you are just a perfect addition to our family! Those cute chubby cheeks make me want to kiss them all day.
