The Bluebells At Ashridge Estate

The Bluebells At Ashridge Estate

I apologise in advance for the amount of photos in this post but they are just too lovely not to share. On Sunday I became a proper blogger because I finally got to photograph my girls amongst the bluebells! I think I took over 100 photographs in the half hour we were there but don’t worry I won’t upload all of them – that would be too many!

Locally I had heard that Dockey Wood in Ashridge was the place to go. But from what I could gather from good old google, it was quite a walk! We found a beautiful blanket of bluebells anyway so I was happy.

But first a horse ride was a must. Little has always asked “can I ride it?” when she sees a horse so was super excited! Of course as soon as it was her turn she was too scared to get on. She did eventually get on but by then the horse had basically fallen asleep and wasn’t in the mood to walk anywhere!!

ASHRIDGE

I digress. Back to the bluebells and my beautiful models!

I know I am totally biased but when I look at these photos and their beaming smiles my heart pounds. Boy am I lucky to be surrounded by these two and the love and happiness they bring!

I’d love to see your bluebell photos on twitter so please tweet me them @smallthingblog.
