How To Make Your Own Firework Picture

With the 5th November quickly approaching and Little suddenly becoming afraid, I thought it would be nice to create our own firework pictures to help focus her mind on something other than the loud bangs!

All you will need is:

  • some card or paper
  • paints
  • toilet or kitchen roll tubes
  • scissors
  • a paint tray (or oven tray if you’re me!)

I literally just poured lots of different colours onto a tray, cut the toilet roll tube 3/4 of the way up and let Little do the rest! I absolutely love how they turned out and it can be adapted for all ages as a fun, easy activity ahead of Firework Night!

Please do let me know if you’ve done any crafts for Firework Night as I would love to see them 🙂

Great idea, I’ve used crayons/chalk and black card to make firework pictures, but this looks messy and fun. #ThatFridayLinky

We didn’t have any black card – that would look amazing! Chalks is a lovely idea too xx
