Korbell Nappy Bin* #itsbinbeautiful

When we heard the team at Cheeky Rascals had launched an innovative, eco-friendly and unique nappy bin we could not wait to be involved. Living in a first floor maisonette with a newborn means it is not always convenient to go downstairs to the bin after every nappy change (or I’d be down there all the time!) yet it was just never on our list of essentials.

Korbell nappy bins are the only hands-free nappy bins on the market and claim to be easy and convenient to use. For me as a parent I am always looking for things that make life that bit easier so this sounded perfect.

As well as pure white, it now comes in three new beautiful colours to match any nursery decor including soft pink, mint green and pastel blue. Obviously having two girls I chose soft pink. It is a lovely shade and just blends in with the nursery so it isn’t the first thing you see (or smell!) .

Korbell Nappy Bin

We’ve got the Standard 15 litre bin which holds up to 45 nappies at any one time and the liner lasts for up to 495 nappies or 10-11 weeks (based on 7 nappies a day). The liners are about £12, depending on where you buy them from, which sounds a bit pricey but you’ll only have to spend that once a month, maybe even every other month.

The thing I love most about this bin, other than the fact my house doesn’t smell of nappies, is that I can just pop the nappy in the bin whilst still holding Baby. Little is able to use this too and has loved the responsibility of putting her pull up in there every morning. It also has the option to lock the flap which has been handy with the excitement of the new bin!!

When the bin is full up, it is very easy to empty. You simply tear the top of the bag on the hook provided, tie it up and bin it. Then tie another knot in the bottom of the liner and use again! Voila.

As if you need me to sell it to you anymore but…… once the nappy days are behind you, you can use it as ‘just a bin’ by popping in a bin liner!

This super practical nappy bin retails at £27.50 and is available from http://www.cheekyrascals.co.uk.

I really like the look of that nappy bin. We had one for Zach but found it was too much of a faff and ended up just putting all the nappies straight in the bin instead xx #MarvMondays

Ilive in a town house, so taking nappies down two flights was always convenient, I loved our Nappy bin first time around. This one sounds fab though and the liners seem like a right bargain, will have to have a gander at this!

Oooo it looks quite retro. I had one with. Y daughter almost 6 years ago and it was awful. It seems things have moved on since then. I may have to invest for number 3 🙂 #maternitymondays

This sounds great! We have the Tommee Tippee one and have used it with both our babies, but I love that this one is hands free which sounds like it would be a lot easier! Great review, thanks for sharing it on #MarvMondays. Emily
