“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” – Kahlil Graham
I missed my first Living Arrows post last week but with good reason. We were travelling to Disneyland Paris! Those 5 days went by so quickly in a blur of busy, exhaustion and magical awesomeness. Honestly it was a such a whirlwind and now that I’m home I feel like I’m missing something by actually sitting down!
Little S was in constant awe and is already asking to go back! At first she wasn’t too keen on the characters and I think it was a little overwhelming for her but by day 5 she had come round to having her photo taken with them! Her favourite rides were Dumbo’s flying elephant and it’s a small world! She was given some money from both Nanny’s and she chose herself a Belle doll that she’s played with everyday. Honestly the magic of Disney will stay with me and hopefully her forever!
I feel like Baby L has grown up so much since we’ve been away. She’s chatting more and able to tell us exactly what she does (or mostly doesn’t) want! Whilst S didn’t particularly like the characters, L absolutely loved them. She was in her element and barely slept the whole time we were there!
Both girls dealt with the super busy days and the extreme cold so well and we had the most magical 5 days together. Whilst I’m sad to be back to the daily grind I am grateful for my own bed and all those home comforts I missed.
In other news, can you believe how quickly Christmas is coming round? I have only just put our tree up and haven’t made even the smallest dent in the Christmas shopping so I really need to get organised! Please tell me I am not alone?
