Living Arrows | 5/52

Living arrows is all about celebrating childhood. Every Monday I share a moment from our week as a way to not only document our life but as a place to watch my children grow.

This week has been a bit blah! We are in a terrible routine of sitting around the house at the moment so I am trying my best to get us all out of the house whenever I can. It has been pretty hard this week thanks to the lovely British weather!

On Sunday afternoon we managed to get some fresh air but only for a short time before it started raining again. This ones behaviour has been a little bit all over the place this week which I think is mainly down to boredom and lack of routine! So I have been making a list of places and things that we could do to help keep the boredom at bay. It is becoming obvious to me that I live in a bit of a ghost town!

After struggling with nap time for a while we are slowly getting back on track. Baby L loves routine just as much as her sister so it is difficult finding a balance that suits them both. I don’t mean to wish these days away but I am longing for better weather and Baby to be able to join in with our activities. But for now I am going to cherish¬†this time and try to make the best of the time we get together!

It’s so hard to get out and about with this awful wet weather isn’t it?! I totally agree there. Hopefully Feb will give us some milder days! xo

Is there anything sweeter than a photo of a sleeping baby! We’ve been stuck in the house a fair bit lately too, I think we need to start putting our waterproofs on and just heading out for a walk even if it’s wet out! x #LivingArrows

I remember how hard it was to get much done with a baby and an older one. We pretty much hibernated for the first six months, it was so hard to get out of the house. But, even now, this month has been all about being indoors – it’s just so grey! Love the umbrella photo x
