“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” – Kahlil Gibran
What a funny old week. It was one of those that seems such a long time ago but went so fast. Our week was spent mostly indoors with very little going on. Baby has been so poorly so has needed lots of cuddles and love! This has left me feeling pretty terrible for Little but this week I’ll make it up to her!
Little has made me so proud this week. She has had to entertain herself whilst most of my attention has been on Baby. When at the hospital she sat so nicely and did not kick off once! She is such an adaptable little girl but when putting her to bed the other night she asked me “can we do somfink fun tomorrow?” I sometimes don’t realise how things affect her because she just gets on with it. This week will be all about her 🙂
It has been so horrible to see Baby so poorly this week. We had two trips to the doctors that ended in being sent to the paediatric ward in our local hospital. Her temperature was not being controlled with medication and just kept rising. At one point it was at 39.5 and she was really suffering. It turns out she has tonsillitis and after starting antibiotics she seems to finally be getting better.
We have had a lovely weekend despite the difficulties of last week and I’m feeling fresh and ready to take on another week 🙂
