Living Room Moodboard

I am so excited to finally be able to decorate our family home. If you read my picture heavy post you will know that we are soon to move into our first family home that we can actually decorate, woopie! The flat we rented before was never really our home as we were not able to make it our own due to it being a new build. We were just about allowed to put pictures on the wall!
So now I plan to bring colour (not too much as I’m not that brave!) into every room! I have an idea in my head of how I want everything to look so I just hope it actually ends up looking like that. I thought I would share with you all an idea of how I want my living room to look.
Graham and Brown Wallpaper
I love warm colours and I feel like teal will bring a bit of colour to my living room whilst keeping it lovely, warm and cosy. I think this wallpaper looks fresh and clean and is not too over powering as we only plan to have this on the chimney breast. Suggestions on colours for the rest of the walls would be brilliant as I do not just want cream, maybe something like a mocha? Not too light and not too dark.
Haversham Sideboard
I absolutely love the farmhouse theme at the moment and I wanted to use this theme in my living room. I searched absolutely everywhere to find a revamped welsh dresser to this affect with no luck (they were all too big!) 🙁 until I came across this sideboard from Homebase. This is not too big as my living room is not massive. I love a sideboard as I can really personalise it with family photo’s and cute little ornaments.
Haversham TV Entertainment Unit
I originally found the sideboard when looking for a revamped welsh dresser and then discovered it had a TV unit to match. So obviously I had to purchase it (I’m a bit of a freak when it comes to things matching!). It’s got storage for DVD’s etc so it should look nice and tidy.
Next Teal Cushion
I was lusting over these for ages as I love a big squadgy cushion. Then when in the Next Sale I found them for half price (what a steal!) so I brought two! I think these will go nicely on our sofa which is a kind of a slade colour and bring the colours together in the room.
What else would you put into the room to make it more homely? I want it ooze family, look clean and tidy whilst also show that we have a baby!
