My Newborn Must Haves – 6 Months On

You may have read My Newborn Must Haves post a while back. Well I thought I should update these now that Scarlett is 6 months old. You can read her 6 month update here.

1. Graco Lovin Hug Swing – Bear & Friends
This does not get as much use as it did when she was smaller. She now naps in her cot (I hope I do not jinx this!) and she is happy to be on the floor playing with her toys. We do still have it in the living room but I think sadly it is time to put it away until baby number 2!

2. Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Essentials Set
The steriliser and bottle warmer are our most used products, along with the bottles. We have brought more bottles and only use the 150ml bottles for water and juice. The insulated bottle bags are so helpful now that Scarlett doesn’t feed as much during the day because if we are going out I will make a fresh bottle of boiled water and it will be ready whenever she needs it.

3. Muslin Squares
Scarlett still has a muslin with her for most of the day. If we are ever without a Muslin, I go into panic mode haha!!

4. Maxi-Cosi Easy Fix Isofix Car Seat Base
Still an absolute life saver (well actually a back saver!) Even now with a 5 door car it makes it so much easier and quicker to get Scarlett in and out of the car, even if we do not take the car seat. I would definately recommend anyone to get a car seat base.

5. Sleep Body Pillow
This now takes residence under Scarlett’s cot! I will try and find a use for it once we move but at the moment we do not use it.

6. Mountain Buggy Cosmopolitan
We love this just as much now as the day we finally got our hands on it! It is just amazing. Now that Scarlett can sit up she want’s to see the world! It is easy to change it from a seat to a carrycot if she falls asleep. It also has a massive basket so shopping is made easier! The cosmopolitan is easy to push aswell, even one handed which is brilliant for me as occasionally Scarlett likes to get out and look around!

These were our Newborn Must Haves – 6 Months On.

Now she is 6 months old we have a few things to add to our list.

Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo
You may have read my review on our Jumperoo. Scarlett loves being in her jumperoo as it is so bright and there is lots to see and do. This gives Mummy the chance to do the really fun chores! Although sometimes I ignore the housework and just sit and watch my bouncing bean 🙂

Bumbo Baby Sitter and Play Tray
As we are still not in our own place the Bumbo has been perfect for weaning Scarlett. It is small and easy to store away when not used. She also likes to sit in her bumbo and throw her toys on the floor! I have ordered a highchair but we will still use her bumbo for snack and play times.

Munchkin Fresh Food Chopper & Steamer
This is really handy as we have gone down the baby led weaning route so we can just chop up foods and steam them in the microwave to make them soft enough for her! Plus she doesn’t have to wait very long for her food!

Of all the things you used for your newborn, what do you still get lots of use out of?

We love our jumperoo too – so handy for keeping them entertained! My little one didn't like being in her bumbo for very long, but I've noticed her getting more used to it as she gets older x

They are amazing aren't they? Bumbos are good but I can't wait for her highchair to arrive tomorrow 🙂 x

I couldn't have survived without our swing, bumbo and muslins! x

Me neither! I'm glad we survived though hehe x
