When I was contacted and asked if Scarlett and I would like to review Sudocrem I jumped at the chance. It couldn’t have come at a better time as I think Scarlett may be teething meaning her bottom is a little bit red. If you have ready my post ‘What’s In My Changing Bag?’ you will know that I always carry a pot of Sudocrem.
Sudocrem Care and Protect is different though. I found that Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing cream was quite drying on Scarlett’s little bottom so if she was really sore Sudocrem just made it worse.
Sudocrem Care & Protect is different though. It is a different texture, more moist. Sudocrem recommend using it at every nappy change to create a protective barrier from potential irritants. However I don’t agree with using creams when they are not needed but I have been using this for a week as she has a red bottom.
It smells fresh, goes onto her skin nicely and seems to be working as her bottom hasn’t gotten any worse. I will continue to use this and it will be a firm favourite in my changing bag.
I would definitely recommend this to other parents as it is a lovely product.
