5 Reasons To Love The Summer Infant SwaddleMe Muslin*

5 Reasons To Love The Summer Infant SwaddleMe Muslin*

We were very kindly sent a beautiful pack of SwaddleMe muslin blankets from Summer Infant and we want to share with you why we love them.

Now I thought swaddling was something Baby would love. She loved being snuggled up in her Sleepyhead and I’m sure that’s one of the reasons she has been such a good sleeper. However when I swaddled her for the first time she tried her hardest to get her arms out. I think I may have missed the boat with her because now she can roll she just always wants to be on the move.

The 5 reasons we love our SwaddleMe muslin blankets:

1. They have so many uses

Although Baby isn’t a fan of being swaddled I still use these muslins everyday. Due to their huge size they make an excellent protection for parents when feeding their baby as we all no spit ups happen. It could also be used as a breastfeeding cover by tucking it into a bra or top strap! My favourite use for it, other than Baby’s comforter, is laying it in the trolley before putting Baby in. Those trolleys are always filthy and it helps protect her clothes and stop me worrying about germs.

2. The colours are just beautiful

There are 3 lovely colour options to chose from and I don’t think I have ever struggled choosing muslins before. I love that they aren’t gender specific as I would of happily chosen any of the colour packs without worrying people will think she’s a boy – which happens a lot by the way

3. They wash really well

I have had a few muslins over the years as both girls have used them as comforters. Usually after a few washes they go bobbly and lose their shape but so far the Summer Infant ones have been washed and used a lot and are still in brilliant condition. The thread has come lose a little bit but it hasn’t affected the shape.

4. They are so super soft

Again I have found a lot of our other muslins have gone a bit crispy after a few washes. These are definitely the softest I have felt. Baby loves nothing more than burrowing her cheek against one or rubbing it on her face.

5. They make a great photo backdrop!

Now this is something I’m sure other parents will really appreciate. My favourite back drop is the zig zag one because I really think it makes the blue in Baby’s eyes pop! But if I want more of a calmer look the multi dot is the one.

Overall I would say these muslin blankets get a thumbs up from us. At only Β£19.99 I think they are well worth the money!

What is your favourite thing about Summer Infants SwaddleMe range? I’m currently lusting over theΒ whale cloud blanket!

*We were sent the muslin blankets for the purpose of this review, however all opinions are 100% honest and our own*

They look really good. I never use my large swaddles for swaddling, always for other things like putting down on the floor for my little one to roll on. Good idea about using in trolleys!

We used larger sized muslins like this for our youngest – they’re so useful and I only wish I’d discovered them first time round!
