If I am honest 2018 passed by in a bit of a blur. Well what I thought was a blur until I spent some time looking back through my 2018 posts. I thought I would struggle to find 7 posts to share but actually 2018 wasn’t that bad! Anyway, I have been tagged by Jayne from Sticky Mud and Belly Laughs to share 7 blog posts, 7 things that I loved in 2018 and 7 things I am looking forward to doing in 2019. So here are mine..
My 7 Favourite Blog Posts From Last Year
1 Rediscovering US this valentines day – I still have to pinch myself that I was able to work with Debenhams! I had planned on using it to stay somewhere locally but now I think I’m going to use it to stay in one of the places I want to visit in 2019!
2 Is this the end of blogging for me? – This post resonated with so many people and I love it when others reach out 🙂
3 Help, I am not ready for school – No reason other than mostly all still true. Plus it documents my feelings as we approached a big change in our life.
4 Mission finding myself is a go – I needed this reminder to remember the things I want to achieve as part of my body-confidence journey!
5 20 things to do before starting school – We had so much fun ticking most of these off! I cannot wait for summer again 🙂
6 Sea Life London Aquarium Behind The Scenes Tour – What an amazing opportunity this was. I found it so educational and it was another lovely family day out to our memories.
7 A letter to my daughter on her first day at school – Another school themed post (can you tell it was quite massive for us?). I am so glad I wrote this and I hope one day she will read it 🙂
7 Things I Loved Last Year
1 I loved our family holiday to Weymouth. Weymouth is one of my favourite places in the UK and Little S still talks about it and wants to go back!
2 Ok I don’t love going to the gym as such, but I love that I was brave enough to join up on my own and actually go.
3 That I was able to reduce my hours at work to work around Little S’ new school hours. I get to do every drop off and every pick up 🙂
4 I went away with work and got to stay in a hotel for two nights all by myself. Obviously I missed the girls but it was nice to feel care free for a short while!
5 James and I went to London for his 30th birthday celebrations and saw Motown the Musical. It was nice to wonder around London just the two of us!
6 Lots of lovely trips to my Mum’s caravan, never complete without a walk along the seafront to the local pub for lunch.
7 I overcame my mind on many occasions. That is something I feel proud of and love the most!
7 Things To Look Forward To This Year
1 Lots of trips to the zoo with our new annual passes.
2 Hopefully seeing some new parts of the UK I have never seen before.
3 Sorting out our finances and throwing everything into saving for a family home!
4 Spending more time on myself and hopefully discovering more of who Amy is.
5 Getting creative and giving Calligraphy a go!
6 Spending lots more quality time with my girls, and James too.
7 Finding inner happiness!
