Toilet Tales*

Little is now 27 months old and I’d say fully potty trained during the day. It all started when one afternoon she decided she no longer wanted to wear a nappy so I just rolled with it. She has always been one to follow people to the toilet so I guess she just knew what to do.

We had a few accidents at first and a few stressful poo situations! Little found pooping on the potty dirty so we decided to try her on the toilet. Again she took to this like a duck to water and with a lot of encouragement managed poo’s! After about a week she was pretty much potty trained through the day. I am so glad I waited for her to be ready and I am super proud of how adjustable she is.

When Summer Infant approached me about reviewing a potty I was a bit apprehensive but when I saw the potty I jumped at the chance and I am so glad I did. Little was so excited when she saw the box and couldn’t wait for Daddy to put it together. She named it her “little toilet” as she still occasionally used the big toilet! I think the thing she loved the most was the chain. She spends most of her time flushing the chain whilst still sitting on her ‘little toilet’.

James tells me it is very easy to put together and it has a handy storage part for toilet wipes, which we love. It is a lot easier to clean then a normal potty as the bowl just lifts out! I do not have a bad thing to say about it. We love it! It isn’t currently out in the UK but can be preordered from Kiddicare.
